Groups

The different groups (levels) where you can register at Aegis Trackdays.

Beginner, Group (level) 1. You enter the track for the first time. You have no experience yet and we will build this up together with our instructors. During the training you get to know the circuit and your car. We teach you techniques and give you a taste of the speed on the track. We proceed as follows: You will receive a briefing from us about job safety and how to sit in your car. We give you instruction on cornering and braking techniques. You go out on the track in small groups behind the instructor. On the circuit you drive the ideal line with the instructor and copy this example. You will receive an individual debriefing after each session with directions and points for improvement.

Some experience, Group (level) 2. You already have some track experience. You want to expand your experience and improve your technique. You will be guided on the track and can get started with track and cornering techniques. It is (limited) possible to book an instructor per session to guide you individually. You drive in a group on the track and you respect your fellow track users. Overtaking in this group is only allowed in restricted places on the track. (These will be discussed during the briefing) Technique and safety take precedence over achieving high speeds. We proceed as follows: You will receive a briefing from us about job safety and the restrictions that apply in the group. An instructor will board, if you have booked one. We guide you safely on the track. You are aware of your fellow road users.

Expert, Group (level) 3. You are an experienced circuit driver. You want to throw your car loose and race around the track. Safety comes first, for yourself and your fellow road users. For that reason, when you sign up for the Level 3 sessions, we request that you demonstrate/discuss your circuit experience with us. We proceed as follows: You will receive a briefing about job safety from us. We guide you safely on the track. You are aware of your fellow road users and do not forget the safety requirements. It’s no contest. Go to our calendar now to book a track day.
